The World’s 10 Most Notable Roads or Come Visit The Road Of Death

Vroom Vroom Vroom’s published their list of the world’s top 10 unusual drives on Earth, from the world’s steepest (Baldwin Street Dunedin, New Zealand) to the most picturesque (the Dalmatian Coast Road, Croatia).
That’s all nice and good, but where’s the adventure in cruising your Fiat along the Adriatic or ambling along suburban Dunedin? My favorite clocks in at #3.
What is widely considered as the world’s most dangerous, the North Yungas Road in Bolivia, affectionately known by locals as the “Road of Death”, winds its way at 12,000 feet for 35 miles from La Paz to Coroico and averages a fatality every two weeks, with between 200-300 deaths a year. Perfect for the next family road trip.
